In 1983 I joined Blakeslee & Blakeslee as a planner. Today I continue to work with clients as a Certified Financial Planner™ and serve the firm as Partner and Vice President.
I find great reward in assisting my clients in achieving their financial planning and investment goals, often providing more than one way for my clients to meet their financial objectives with greater ease, lower taxation, and the best use of their resources. I take pride in helping my clients understand the work we’re doing together. I believe it’s important for people to have a healthy long-term perspective on their goals and investments so they react to their needs, the markets, and the economy in the best ways possible.
During my early years at the firm, I hosted, produced and engineered a talk radio show. The show ran for 17 years, from 1992-2009; featuring hundreds of nationally known guests in an hour-long interview format, including Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize-winning economist; Robert Shiller, Princeton economics professor; Knight Kiplinger, Kiplinger Report and magazine; and many more.
Over the years, I’ve had a strong commitment to our community. I've served on the advisory board of the Women's Shelter in San Luis Obispo, on an EOC Advisory board, and as a member of the YMCA Scholarship Drive. I am also the founder of The TEACh Foundation, a permanent endowment for children of the San Luis Coastal Unified School District.
I live in Arroyo Grande with my wonderful wife Ani.
